Six Daagse you ask? Daagse, Dutch for day. Six day racing was born in the US, the riders quite literally raced for six days and nights, it soon made its way to mainland Europe and that is where its roots are now firmly planted. The aroma of beer, mayonnaise and Siberian Pine is enough to bring the hardest riders indoors. Combine that with Derny fumes, hand slings, some Euro pop and being close enough to feel the breeze then you have the essence of six day racing.
